    • Parnis Daytona. The white dial is nice but it's not so good for actually telling the time, especially in low light.

    • Hi Simon, Can you please point me in the right direction of getting automatic movements service manuals which show disassembly and reassembly for service.   I am a hobbyist and would like to take apart a watch movement that says ‘ Cal 512’ on it.   I have searched the net but can’t seem to find anything useful.  Obviously, I am looking at the wrong place. The watch is old but in good shape and would like to service it myself at home and increase my knowledge. Your help will be much appreciated. Many Thanks, Regards, Yasser.
    • Football, tennis, badminton, squash, jogging / running.  Loose or stretched ligaments (football injuries) forced me to give them all up and hiking became my main thing. Then the loose ligaments resulted in a dislocation of the knee that in turn led to arthritis and now I swim, walk and cycle a little.  Just building up my stamina after my op and did a fair bit of walking in Bangkok earlier (cool weather), after putting my PO in for repair / service at the Swatch service centre here (separate thread coming), until my legs turned to jelly! Took a taxi home!
