Although I don't finish until next Tuesday, today is my official 'retiring from work' luncheon so we're all off somewhere nice (I hope!)...my guv'nor did explain that he'd found it almost impossible to book a table at Maccy D's.... There can only be one watch in my collection for this momentous occasion, so I'll be wearing the GMT. (3 days to go! )

Well after selling four decent watches I felt the need to replace with something other than a dive watch , I had been waiting for the new CW trident but looking at the sneak previews I wasn't too impressed and it would have been another diver anyway. I then moved on to something smart casual (IMO) and settled on the Tudor 1926 range, not too blingy and a bit of interest around the dial the blue hands and arabic numerals pop out of the superb waffle textured dial the bracelet is really comfortable so no need for the duct tape to be added . So far I am really (easily ) impressed with the whole package . The 710 was quite happy with it and it's only cost me two new tops and a dress ,so win win . now your turn to slag it off ,

morning Bit of a wet, dull grey morning, so what better than a dial that matches the sky. Orient Bambino 2nd Gen. Ver 3 (Cal.F6724)

I got this new blue alligator strap for my "smurf" dial, I had been super luch as the blue of the strap is matching one to one with the particular blue of the dial, wit ha small minimalist orange stitching to match with the colour of the handsets

I super like the alligator straps, very solid, strong and robust stuff, but I think I think I prefer the croco it is softer, more comfortable to wear on the wrist, and nice warm touch, I cannot stop to slide my finger on it
