After many years and headaches on dedicated servers I've decided to move the forum to the cloud. This will mean, if all goes well, a couple of hours downtime. I'll give a days notice before I do it and I might do it in the middle of the night, over the weekend, to avoid any inconvenience

I have this afternoon been looking back at some of my topics from the past with an eye to thanking members for their kind comments and other interesting posts, so enlivening my own work. Quite frequently, there will be posts deserving my gratitude placed on my topics some considerable time after the topic was written and posted, and it is nigh on impossible for me to get round to notifying everyone of my appreciation, usually with a reaction notification. So here in this little thread-head is a general thank you for everyone who has read and enjoyed my topics, and a special note to those who have notified their appreciation and/or posted their own contribution.

Love this Tressa, not sure of the age but it looks like 1970's, it's in great condition, JoT tells me it is new old stock, no idea what the movement is, I will have to wait until someone has a look. At 36mm it is about as big as I can manage, it is also quite a thick watch. Day is changed by rotating the hands and the date by a button at the 4 position, (❁´◡`❁) (❁´◡`❁)

Vintage hats. Probably got more of them than watches. Mostly English and European, although I do have a few subtle American ones. Lock &Co are my favourites, followed by Borsalino. Can't see me ever stretching to one of these though. https://www.lockhatters.co.uk/men/panamas/bespoke-ultra-fine-montecristi-panama.html Ouch.
