  2. Owing to my jet set lifestyle can never remember the date. Old pic too - I am not showing so much 'tail' through that last keeper, since I have had to let the strap out one hole. Time to lay off the chocolate cake ...

  4. Soz, the date is wrong. It's such a pain in the ass to adjust. Lovely watch though, runs great with a fabulous crown action. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

  13. Good morning [emoji3] Skagen today, and I must say that for a fashion brand it's quite nice. Well made with a nicely made strap and as a bonus it's not lost or gained a second since I set it a week ago. Not too sure I would have brought it at at its RRP of £160 but as a TK Maxx clearance price it's a bit of a bargain. Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L31 using Tapatalk

  30. This is one of my mantle shelf watches (ie watches that look nice but tricky to tell the time on the wrist ), I got a good deal too, but I was sick as a chick to see it even cheaper in my favourite store (TK Maxx). Real steal.

  32. Quit an interesting post this. The " argument " about the watch being too expensive for having a 2824 movement doesn't really wash (see Tudor, and a host of others). As to the aesthetics, thats personal taste. Quality ? I've never handled one, so I can't comment. What the problem here is methinks, is the name on the dial, fashion brand on a watch ? How dare anyone else do a "Cartier". loose money ? if only I hadn't drunk all that alcohol over the years, most enjoyable, but I can't get my money back on that, can I ?

  35. This Oris is closer to your Original Gucci ... and nicer IMO than the Oris above .... and cheap as chips with this sale price !!! https://www.francisandgaye.co.uk/oris-mens-artelier-small-second-pointer-day-automatic-watch-01745766640510782377-p23636

  37. It really comes down to personal taste. I just don't like the crown on a lot of the Tudor models as, for me, it looks like an after thought rather than part of the design. Also not a great fan of the hour hand. Only own one Seamaster and it has a white dial but I do like some of the blue ones.

  38. But this. Put it on a decent rubber strap and save a couple of hundred quid extra to buy the Omega bracelet. That is 100% what I’d do Just check out somewhere like Chrono24 and you’ll be surprised what you can get in your budget. Here’s another good option
