  8. Morning, Today, this Boma from about 1960, give or take, with a variant of the 17J FHF 73. Possibly from Georges Weill of La Chaux-de-Fonds, who registered a Boma brand in 1945. Incidentally, “Monorex” on the dial refers to the shock-resist system, just in case anyone was wondering Regards.

  32. You are never going to change the ways of the self proclaimed expert who has an opinion on every subject under the sun or those who believe you do not understand Horology unless you wear something resembling a Station clock.. we all love our pieces for whatever reason and are are all worthy of respect at whatever price point ... buy what you love do not seek approval from others who think a Geneva Seal in something located in Lake Lucerne.... and in all my years I have never met a car salesman sporting the much maligned Rolex...maybe I just socialise with normal people..

  35. To some, what is on their wrist, their back, and what they drive, is part of conspicuous consumption, and they revel in it, as any "Instagram model" will confirm, if their mouth still works after the collagen injections.
