This has just landed, a vintage Rado Manhattan mk2 automatic, circa1970-76 I am very happy if never been polished, the case is sharp and crisp, it also has the original NSA bracelet with a signed clasp and crown ! I am well chuffed!!15 points

This is coming out with me now, the chrono hands were very corroded when I sent it off, the minutes counter didn't make it out of theatre apparently, but it's come back patched up pretty well and precise as you like. HAGD15 points

Morning, This Regency today, probably from around 1970 and whose maker I’ve never been able to establish. Acccording to some sources it was the house brand of Service Merchandise (1934 – 2002) of Tennessee who operated a chain of “Catalogue Showrooms” with a $4 billion turnover at one stage. There is also a suggestion that these things may have been made by Seiko. However, one thing which does seem certain is that it runs on a 17j Citizen 1400 auto, a movement kindly ID’d by the good Dr Ranfft from his as-yet unpublished archives. Regards.15 points

Morning, all you lie-a-beds, starting with this. A different bracelet today, All brushed Geckota super-engineer - I think the square end links complement the no crown-guard look quite well. Have a great day. J13 points

Yema Rallygraf. Not really loved it since it arrived in the summer, but just swapped the brown leather strap for a Geckota Rally strap I picked up in their sale. Still not overwhelmed but It appeals more. Picked mine out but decided against it, just as well!12 points

I tried on a watch earlier this year that I didn't buy for the reason that I had the distinct feeling that it would be detrimental to the rest of my collection in that I would probably wear it over just about anything else. Moving on, I went out for a walk yesterday, and whilst taking care to socially distance, I tripped and fell into a jewellers shop, and on my way down I accidentally grabbed hold of the display stand and the very watch became lodged on my wrist. The shop assistant, in shock, helped me up and inadvertently removed my wallet from my pocket, which miraculously had exactly t9 points

A weekend of battery changes. Ugh, I hate battery changes. But at least I get to wear some sporty stuff for the next two Grand Prix weekends. 121Time Race Chronograph9 points

SRPE53K1 from FirstClassWathcesSKX013 from WatchNation Just bought my first two watches. Well actually, I first bought a Tissot PR100 and a Seiko SKX007 but then returned them and opted for these two. I wanted a normal watch that I could use everyday without too much fear of bashing it, so that will be the Seiko 5 Sport with its lovely blue dial. As for the SKX013 I went down a bit of a rabbit hole of modding and saw some really cool ones. But the Hokusai Great Wave image really stood out to me, so I've ordered parts and have arranged for a modder to do the installation, so I'll shar2 points

I went to a small guest house. The manager said, 'You want a room with running water? I said, 'What do you think I am, a trout ? "2 points

Sarb showing its flexibilty. Ive messed about on the beach this aft with it on its bracelet and it feels like a tool watch. Put it on a nice Hirsch croco and it feels dressed up for the night.2 points

On the road tonight with my Timex. Time not been adjusted for about two weeks and still running pretty much dead on so I'm pretty impressed considering this is a very cheap watch. Bought a seatbelt NATO for this which is new on this afternoon. Suits it in my opinion!2 points

Personally one watch wouldn't do it for me , I have far too many interests in things mainly vintage so tend to wear something that suits what I’m doing , where I’m going or even what I’m wearing , the only new watch I wear is to work as a old watch just wouldn’t last, the rest are either vintage or tell a storey ie issued military , for me and this is only my opinion and maybe controversial but for me new watches have no soul and remakes or reissues just leave me a bit cold , I don’t do shiny and I don’t do bling1 point
