Morning everyone. No snow here, just dry with a chilly breeze. Had a double Monster weekend, with Orange being worn this week. Big bang for my GBP's. Pic from yesterday.18 points

Morning, A 1960s Constructa today, probably made by the Mondaine-owned Constructa pin lever outfit. Whilst these things are usually found with a 1j Baumgartner 866 inside, this one sports the seldom-seen 21j Ebosa 65. Regards.18 points

Being retired I’m not up and about as yet ,but it will be this one today. That’s lovely,as I get older a nice clear dial is most important.15 points

I appear to have changed into this - I can see the date is not right, but since I had a bit of a surprise to see it on my wrist, I shall let myself off. HAGD14 points

How about this 'Nautilus' homage from Seiko (7s36-5000 'Superior')? I bought it (mildly knackered)on eBay about 6 years ago for £7.50......I have replaced the balance and fitted a new crystal... Or this vintage quartz (4823-5017) from 1976.......4 points

I like a white dial, I can actually read the time without glasses on4 points

Sorry, clearly didn't read the part that said sub 500. Ignore my post, I can't remove it unfortunately What about a SARY055? Picture from Reddit. Or, you can always try and find a used/discounted SARX055 (baby snowflake) but think that may still be a bit above 500. Pic from Two Broke Watch Snobs.4 points

It really is a good looking watch in the flesh.... It really is a good looking watch in the flesh....4 points

You’d probably get a good preowned one of these for around the 500 mark4 points

I only have one white dial wrist watch, a modest Vostok 24h Having worn it for a while it has changed my thoughts on white4 points
-
I like this, it's a new one in my collection. No texture and it's a 24 hour dial so it takes a bit of getting used to, but its clear and easy to read, and way below £500. The bracelet is pants though, if I keep it and get on with it I may purchase a better quality solid link bracelet for it. EDIT: Seiko Samurai can be bought with a white waffle dial which looks great IMO, around the £500 mark4 points
