  12. Morning, Another resurrected giveaway from my sometimes sainted watchmaker, this Delma takes its inaugural bow today. The company, still existing and now better known for their Sports, Diver and Chrono models, was founded as Thuya in 1924 with the Delma brand name first appearing in the 1950s. Renamed as Delma Watch Ltd in 1966, they assimilated the 1933-founded Delbana brand in 2002. Today’s effort dates from the 1960s and runs on a 17j Peseux 320. Regards.

  27. My wife owns a Delma watch (modern version, not vintage) and I had reason to contact Delma recently and I can honestly say I have never had service like it from any watch company, they were outstanding. I can't speak about Delma without gushing a little as they are obviously proud of their history, their products, and really care about their customers. Thanks for sharing, it's a company that deserves to be a little better known within the watch community.

  28. \o/ Incoming. Just arrived. After my disappointment with my acquisition the last time.. but with a little play with it.. I decided to order a good one It still took me half an our on how to set it properly.. Anyway.. i might wear it for a couple of days to play around with it. Hey! I'm a member of the plastique fantastique generation.. (occasionally). That's a cracking idea.

  29. INCOMING!!! My bargain pocket watch has just arrived, its shiny: Not huge, about 45mm diameter: The movement looks pretty damn pretty imo: Front and back panels pop open nicely with the crown push, winds nice and smooth and that second hand sweeps lovely: We live in a truly mad world, because the £7.99 this cost is insane, it is a perfectly functional, pretty attractive, beautifully nostalgic feat of engineering. And 35 minutes in, seems to be keeping very good time (not the biggest test, timing a minute on a stop watch is out by less

  30. Richard LeGrand is a micro brand I first heard of via JOMW and whilst I have thought they produce an attractive set of dive watches, I hadn't seen one that created a space that wasn't already covered in my dive watch leaning collection. However their new update to their Odyssea Diver changed that when announced a couple of months ago. I think this is their 4th iteration of this model and the Pastel Blue version really caught my attention. I added my name to the pre-order list, was given the opportunity to complete a few weeks later and it arrived today. I'm really pleased with the P
