  1. I'd agree with you, it looks interesting https://www.ablogtowatch.com/omega-seamaster-planet-ocean-36th-americas-cup-limited-edition-watch/
  2. I had two new batteries a couple of weeks ago - sadly the metal strap on my watch had shrunk a little since I last wore it and the links are in storage in the box.
  3. this little bad boy
  4. Pork belly joint, black pudding and all the usual trimmings.
  5. I have the older version, and yes the newer updated model has been available for a while now. It has a ceramic bezel, rather than metal and a tidied up end link design. On the previous model it was polished as opposed to indented/ contoured on the new one. The watch has good wrist presence and for a big birthday is a good choice. Personally I think it's a good facelift. They have also released a new green version as well which looks quite good still at £1230 or so. https://www.longines.com/watches/hydroconquest/l3-781-4-06-6 First pic is of mine and you can see the end link difference mine is polished where the strap meets the watch itself and the newer ceramic bezel is much more pleasant on the eye.

  7. Enjoy your retirement in good health!
  8. Got this O&W M4 out of the box yesterday. Bought from Roy in 2008 - hasn't been on the wrist lately. I've thought about a new leather strap and wondered if the bezel insert could be swapped out for a pepsi? Had it running for 24 hours now and timekeeping seems good still. 10. I saw a Youtube video of a top end gold driver - one bought from wish and another from a trusted vendor. The one from wish was counterfeit and broke on the third or fourth drive with the head flying off into the distance.
  11. The Yema - based purely on first impressions, seems to have more energy in it's design - aimed at younger buyer perhaps?

  19. I keep an eye out for the blue dialled version of this model that said this one at £680, after additional 15% off is applied once added to the basket seems fairly priced?
