  1. Difficult to say... I ought form Roy about ten years ago - kept good time for a good five years or so. Then I had new Yobokies hands installed even years ago together with regulating. Hadn't used it for past few years then when I came to try it it loses a lot. I think just regulating would do it. So I guess any watchmaker who does automatics should be able to do it. Just don't know this area well as I last lived here 38 years ago!
  2. I'm living on the Wirral at mo. My Seiko yellow diver needs regulating - its running 5 mins a day slow! Does anyone know of a good watchmaker on the Wirral or Liverpool or North West area to takeout? Thanks, Steve

  5. Looking at Roy's for sale items - they come in various contrast stitching colours. I have a common Seiko diver 22mm width. But I use the fat Seiko spring bars with all my straps/bracelets. Do these straps accept that size? Does anyone have a photo of their watch on these straps? Steve
  6. My second Z22 in three years has split. Can anyone suggest an alternative rubber type, possibly available in different colours? Steve
  7. I've just received a nice Hirsch Carbon/leather/rubber strap. I have slim wrist and need to put one extra hole in it. What is the best method? I was thinking of starting off with a small awl then widening the hole, if necessary, with a hot pin to melt through. But I don't know how the carbon fibre layer on top would react to this. Steve
  8. has not set their status

  9. I wonder if Roy's "22mm Heavy Duty Rubber Divers Strap - RD22-1" take fat spring bars? See: http://www.rltwatches.co.uk/acatalog/waterproof_.html Steve

  11. Mr Teatime; that looks exactly as I'd hoped it might! I did a search on TZ but get: "You do not have the required post count to view this forum" - a new policy I believe. So still searching for the mod procedure.
  12. OK - curious and curiouser... I was talking of the bezel not the insert. Does anyone have a link to the modification for an aftermarket Rolly? Steve
  13. Hi Jason That's interesting. I saw the Seadweller and wonder if anyone knows where I might get one of these 'aftermarket' bezels? I think it would give the Seiko diver a unique look. Steve
  14. Sorry the question is to the original poster; eZakalwe. I'd like one of those red second hands for my Seiko 007. Steve Steve Steve
  15. Could I ask where you got those aftermarket hands? Steve
