  1. It usually works the other way around, you buy the watches and she divorces you   On the topic a moon watch would be just right for 1969, one of the few times I would suggest an Omega    Definitely that's a good way to induce divorce. I must remember...
  2. And how do i know that an Omega Speedmaster is really from 1969? Seiko could be but i must find one from 1969. Any idea where can one find it?
  3. Thanks but I'd need something "out of the ordinary" but from 1969...
  4. Yes, I know but what about my 710? Maybe for my 50th birthday an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch is the watch. So far, I've found a Seiko 6117-6400 World Time Automatic. What's your opinion about this watch? Xavi
  5. Hi, This year is my 40th birthday so I decided to make me a present, which obviously is going to be a watch :yes2:. I want to gift me a watch of 1969 (, how original!), so I need your help to know which watch models can be found of this year. I'd like to know the brand, model and some information that can be used to verify that the watch is from 1969 (e.g. a Seiko with a serial number 9NXXXXX or a Bulova with an M9 reference, etc...). OK, I know that there are a lot of Omega Speedmaster Moon Watches but if I have to choose between one of these watches and my 710, for the moment, I must choose the 710 :fool:. So unfortunately I can not buy a Tag Heuer Monaco :cry2: nor a Breitling :cry2: nor a Zenith "El Primero" :cry2: ... Thanks so much for your help! Xavi
  6. Hi, I'm trying to make my own list of true 24-hour RLT watches (not GMT) and I need your help. As far as I know this list should have the following ones: RLT9 (quartz), RLT9-N (quartz), RLT10 (mechanical), RLT35 "Jet" (mechanical) and, of course, the new announced 24-Hour RLT watch (quartz). Any other? Any automatic watch? I've seen in "The Concise Guide to RLT Watch Co. Models" an entry for an "RLT 12 & 24 Hour Option Watch". Is this a different model? Has a "name"? Is it the only 12-on-top 24-hour watch from Roy? And the movement, which one is? Thanks! Xavi
  7. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Barça! Barça! Baaaaaaarçaaaaaaa!!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
  8. My most sincere condolences on your loss Mac.
  9. We have to be more optimistic! We should think, for example, we might have simultaneously the time in 10 different places in the world. Ah, that's going to be the end of the GMT and dual time watches
  10. it seems there is at least one pusher (the control bar) but not enough?
  11. What's this? What do you think? :this: Do you like this future? Xavi
  12. :no2: Wrong! Is on the contrary, a minute is 60 seconds, an hour is 60 minutes (or 3600 seconds). As far as I know minutes, hours and so come from seconds
