  1. I'd like to hear more about the Charlies too.
  2. We all know patience is one of your strongest assets.
  3. I got this one a while ago and love it. The hands dance around every night at midnight and unfortunately beeps away for about 30 seconds - can't work out how to shut it up! It is magic though..set itself as soon as I took it out of the box and has lots of functions which I don't need or understand.
  4. If you're using Chrome on the tablet, open the Chrome menu and select the 'Request Desktop Site' option (I'm sure other mobile browsers must have a similar option). This should bypass the 'responsive' element of the forum and give you the full blown site (but it probably won't all fit on the screen horizontally'. Out of interest - why would you prefer the full version rather than the responsive one?
  5. We're pleased to let you know that we think all issues concerning posting direct links from Photobucket are now resolved. As a reminder, the problem occurred when trying to paste a direct link from a photobucket album which had a space in it's name, e.g. 'Mobile Uploads'. Any direct link from albums like this would not embed on the forum and just display the hyperlink. Pasting these direct links into a forum post should now work fine. As a work around, we added an image upload button to the text editor but this caused issues when adding smilies - a green box would appear around the smilie and the cursor was hard to place. We have now removed the image upload feature so smilies should now make you smile instead of grimace.
  6. If it's any of these images you should be able to right click on the image, select copy image address and then paste it into your reply on here.
  7. The sales forums are now read only, questions and deals should be done via the advert...
  8. OK - I think that's a formatting issue from copying and pasting that table from another webpage. It's copied all the HTML from the TF site which isn't responsive to different screen sizes, like mobiles and tablets (would look crappy on this site which is responsive) and will get messed around with by our CSS. This is what was actually pasted: <table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" style="border:1px solid rgb(195,195,195);font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px;color:rgb(0,0,0);" width="80%"> <tbody> <tr> <th scope="col" style="font-size:14px;line-height:normal;" width="200"> MODEL </th> <th scope="col" style="font-size:14px;line-height:normal;"> Smiths Everest PRS-25 </th> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left"> <span style="font-size:14px;line-height:normal;">CASE</span> </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC"> &nbsp; </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Material </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> 316L stainless steel, brushed top with polished sides </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Diameter </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> 40mm, 44mm including crown </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Lug to lug height </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> 49.8mm </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Thickness </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> 14.5mm to the top of the hi-dome crystal </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Lug spacing </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> 22mm </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Anti-magnetic </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> 4,800 A/m </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Water resistance </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> 10ATM/100 metres/330 feet </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Weight </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> 165 grammes including bracelet </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Features </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Screw back, screw down crown, drilled lugs </td> </tr> <tr> <th scope="row"> <div align="left"> <span style="font-size:14px;line-height:normal;">DIAL</span> </div> </th> <td style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> &nbsp; </td> </tr> <tr> <th scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Colour </div> </th> <td style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Black with white printed minute track </td> </tr> <tr> <th scope="row"> <div align="left" style="line-height:normal;font-weight:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Luminous </div> </th> <td style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> Triangle, numbers and indices SuperLuminova C3 </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> <div align="left"> <span style="font-size:14px;line-height:normal;">HANDS</span> </div> </th> <td bgcolor="#FFFFCC" style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"> &nbsp; </td> </tr> <tr> <th bgcolor="#FFFFCC" scope="row"> &nbsp; </th> </tr> </tbody> </table> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> (not the most elegant I've seen!) It would look better like this: I'll update your ad and post with that if you're OK with that?
  9. Sorry, having a blonde moment and a sausage in batter in chips all at the same time! These posts look ok to me on desktop: What am I missing?
  10. Could you let us know what you did to get this message?
  11. Hmmm...I'm suspicious....as it isn't April, there must be a catch! Where's the pics???
  12. Looks like the last bump on your Omega was 21 hours ago so, hopefully, the button will appear for you in about 3 hours time. Which post Rob?
  13. What's all this about Steinhart or Seiko? If you stick around you're bound to end up with both and a few others besides! Welcome aboard.
  14. Please see below for some answers for the early questions being asked about the new Classifieds system. We have introduced this to try and improve the experience for both buyers and sellers. All sales and trades remain open only to trusted members with 50 posts or more and the platform remains free to use. I can't 'bump' my sales post? When any advert is set up, a topic is automatically created in the sales, trade or wanted forum with all of the details included. These forums are read only but the seller will see a 'bump' button at the top of their topic - this is enabled to allow 1 bump every 24 hours. Topics are automatically created containing all of the details included in the sellers advert, with a link to the advert itself. I can't comment on my advert or topic in the sales forum Buyers and sellers should conduct any product questions via the Questions section on the advert. This means all potential buyers will see the answers and avoid the seller having to answer the same thing multiple times. Notifications are sent when questions are asked and answered. Making offers Potential buyers can easily submit offers if the seller has enabled offers on their advert instead of using the PM system. If the seller has not enabled offers on their advert, potential buyers can use the Contact Seller button on the advert. The seller has the ability to receive communications via the PM system or other channels like email, text, whatsapp, etc if they wish. Notifications are sent when offers are made or accepted. Buyers can make an offer and view offers they have already made. Making an offer is easy Viewing and accepting offers made for your item is easy too. A seller can specify additional contact details when setting up their advert. Emails will be sent via the forum. I cant update my advert to say a deal is pending or it has been sold Once an offer has been accepted, your advert will be automatically updated to show a deal is pending and no further offers will be allowed. Once payment has been made, the seller is then able to update their advert to be completed. If the pending deal is cancelled, the seller can also cancel the deal and set it back to being for sale. Once an offer is accepted, you can then complete the deal (once sold) or cancel the deal. Items are automatically updated to 'pending' once an offer is accepted Items are automatically updated to 'completed' when the advert is updated too Members can't advertise a price reduction Members can adjust the price of their item at any time by editing the advert and updating the price. The seller can also add to the item description to inform potential buyers of he old / new price The advert owner can edit the advert using the 'advert actions' option
