I really like that. Great find -
Very nice watch indeed. Wish I could find one of these they seem to have all gone in the sale. Enjoy that was a great find [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Had this on today. Can't wait to give it its full use as a holiday watch at some point in 2021 Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

One of my favourites too. I love mine and really like how versatile it can be. It can be worn in the field and for the evening with a change of the strap. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

This one today, in fact all this week Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I would go for the omega in a heartbeat, however if you were thinking of the heritage superocean on a mesh it would be a harder choice Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

That would be perfect for me too. 61 was a good year [emoji5] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Congratulations, I hope to retire at 60 too. Getting a bit scared as I get closer to it as I'm worried I'll miss working! I don't know why that is because I'm overworked at the moment. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Just got this save the ocean Samurai which I had been looking at for a few weeks before giving in. Have to say I love drilled lugs so off came the bracelet and I have tried on a few straps. It's hard to capture how good the dial looks with my phones camera. See if you can spot the shark fins :-) The bezel also is a highlight for me with it's applied sections. I have been hankering after a Samurai for a few years now and I'm very pleased I got this. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

Funny I was only thinking the other day about how many I own. I was surprised that the number came to four. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

I have been looking out for a GMT watch for a couple of years now. I keep changing my mind which one. Now I do own a few seikos in my small collection and always rate them. This made me think about the 6117 8000 as a potential buy. My question is buying one of these or any vintage watch is a bit of a minefield. How do you spot a franken? I've looked at the various reviews and a few examples on the bay but apart from 'buy the seller' and an over polished case/restored dial what else is there to look for? Would a watch needing work be a massive problem in terms of spares? Regards, degsey.

Love the Seiko mod I looks like a new watch. Got me thinking about adding a 24 hour insert to one of mine. Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk

Mine came for Dublin too so no tax from there (at the moment)if you source one from there. I love mine and will be wearing it on Sunday to help celebrate St. Patrick's day. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

Too pricey at $600 never mind trying to get a grand for one. I think it looks ok but prefer the green one, well I would do because I have one :-) Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk

No contest in my opinion. Vostok all the way for me in fact for about £70 delivered for a watch with interesting history/development story. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
