  1. I think it’s a combination of the massive rotor and the display caseback. I even sent a video to Moser in case I had a dud but they said it was usual. Just made the watch sound tinny, which I couldn’t handle for that price. The dial was absolutely beautiful though, so a real shame.
  2. I don’t think it looks too bad. I’ve seen a lot worse on here
  3. I guess I got mine at a decent discount while everything was a bit scary but it did take a fair while to sell even once things had settled down. Moser might be the next F P Journe but not yet. Maybe I’ll regret selling it when they’re going for £25k in a couple of year’s time but I really couldn’t stand the rotor noise and much prefer a good solid Rolex, even if their designs are a little tame by comparison.
  4. If there’s one thing I just can’t stand, it’s entry level Patek Oh, I bought my Moser Pioneer (Cosmic Green) brand new at the start of the pandemic for £8.4k and sold it for £7.3k. Beautiful dial but a touch too big on the wrist and I just couldn’t stand the noisy movement. Took ages to sell. Try before you buy.
  5. I’ve bought a few off of Chrono24 and usually all goes well. A couple of minor niggles have been sorted by negotiation with the seller.
  6. The 116000 is a great watch although prices have started to go slightly crazy this year. Until recently I had the white grape dial version which was beautiful but I found it just a touch too small for my 7.25 inch wrist so moved it on. It took about a day to sell.
  7. I've had three and still own two of them! Often available at a heavy discount which makes them fantastic watches for the money.
  8. I've had a couple of Muhle Glashutte watches and they were both excellent quality
  9. That's a cool Sinn. I've had two U1's but ended up selling both.
  10. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but the truth is that if you'd have put £100 in Amazon or even Dominos shares ten years ago then you'd have done better than with any watch. We don't beat ourselves up about that so why fret over the watches?
  11. I've been sensible enough never to invest in a loupe. Terrified that I'll find fault with all my watches and never buy another!
  12. The MS is a good-looking watch. I find I get quite bored with whatever couple of watches I take away on holiday with me and they often end up for sale when I get back Probably some kind of mental issue.
  13. Sartory Billard are worth a look.
