  1. I've seen a standard black diagono, unfortunately its the 38mm version, but it's only £850!
  2. I quite like the plain stainless steel Diagono, or the chrono. Are the movements actually any good though?
  3. Hi, Just wondering what people's opinions are on this brand? I used to have a Diagono that I quite liked and I'm tempted to get another... Do they use good automatic movements? They're fairly cheap now 2nd hand, so good value?? Interested to hear people's thoughts!
  4. Any thoughts on this?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252783920810?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT No box or paperwork, but it was serviced in August apparently by Xupes
  5. I wore a G Shock to take my Padi Diving course by the way, so I can definitely guarantee they are waterproof at around 10-20 metres under water!
  6. Never had one but I am now seriously tempted by the C1000 Typhoon FGR4 - Cockpit Edition at £547!!
  7. Did you buy it from Chisholm Hunter?? I'm tempted now!
  8. The tag I saw, cw2113, has a Calibre 17..... Is that no good??
  9. Nice watches! I love the old style Heuer but out of my budget! The Monaco I've seen though is on that strap..... Not seen one on a bracelet before!
  10. Seikotherapy I agree with pretty much all of your points, the only other rolex I've considered (within my budget) is the airking.
  11. My budget is around £2-2500. But I have seen a Monaco boxed and serviced on another forum I use for £1750..... The speedy and datejust tend to be around the £2200 mark.
  12. That's awesome, thanks!! Sorry, but Tudor doesn't appeal to me at all.... I think branding is important to me! How important is box/papers etc with an old rolex? As I've noticed not many have them!!
  13. Hi everyone, So I've got a couple of questions, and I know these may divide opinion but that's good! I've been into watches for years, and had a few now, tag f1, couple of steinharts, couple of breitlings etc. I'm looking for a watch to keep long term, that I won't get bored of, and that will at least hold its value and I can maybe pass onto the kids one day. I'm going to buy used btw. Two questions, firstly I'm thinking of either a tag Monaco Steve McQueen, and as much as I love it I can't get over this nagging feeling that tag is a little bit of a fashion brand! Or I'm thinking of a rolex datejust vs omega speedmaster professional, thoughts on all 3? My other question is where do you buy such watches?? They never come up on here, so is ebay my only option? Thanks everyone, go gentle on me please!
  14. Seems to have disappeared off eBay anyway so that's that!
