  1. My old citizen eco-drive dive watch has finally died and its now time to aquire another everyday watch [emoji23] At the minute I'm torn between a seiko 5 sport, a citizen eco-drive field type watch or another dive watch but don't want to spend no more than £130 any of you guys have any suggestions? I'd prefer something with a leather or canvas strap, the chances are i'll end up sticking a nato strap on it anyway [emoji28] Cheers K Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  2. When I first started I used to swear by shark razor blades and thought they gave the best shaves, I then bought a pack of Astra platinum.... I've never looked back. I'd advise any one who has just started using DE/safety razors to get hold of a razor blade sample pack and see what suits you. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. Is that one on the left black or a navy/dark blue? I like it! If its black they should do a navy blue. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi All, Not new to the forum as such, been a member for about 5+ years. Always had a thing for nice old vintage dress watches and military watches, I'd love to get into watch repair, maybe start a few little projects restoring some damaged old jems..... but to be honest have zero experience so thought this would be the best place to learn a bit, got to start some where just hoping you guys could help me on the way haha [emoji106] K Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. I love a classic/vintage dress watch... Just seen an old rado golden horse. I know it's not in the same league as those you stated but a good looking watch nonetheless. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  6. Can't beat a shave from a DE razor. Got my self a Edwin jagger DE89L a while back, great little razor.. I suffered like mad with razor burn and in-growing hairs when using cartridge razors, I also have stupidly sensative skin so it was a nightmare when I had a shave. I was advised by my partners work mate to change to a single blade and honestly never looked back!! Apprently doing one pass using a cartridge with multiple blades is like doing multiple passes with one single blade razor.... Who'd of thought [emoji85] seems so obvious now [emoji23] Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  7. That's now on the wishlist [emoji106] thank you very much kind sir Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. I like that!!! Please tell me where I can get hold of one!? I'm a pain for cheap retro casios...love them but I do get some stick when I'm at the bar with a bright yellow casio on my wrist. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

  10. I've had an amphibia in my ebay watch list for agesssss (I won't even mention my amazon wish list). It was originally £40 but the price has slowly started to rise. Its at around £80 for the same one now!! I really want to grab myself one but I just don't know if I'll wear it! It's a massive toss up between that a seiko 5 sport or a bertucci. 11. Yes kutusov that's the one its a fantastic watch before I got it it was a toss up between that one and the other one in the picture...I am a citizen fan I must admitt
  12. I've also seen this it's £80 what are your thoughts . there also some pulsars I've read a few of you mentioned them what are they like?
  13. that's a lovely watch but I already own a I really like this and if I had the funds like the op it'd be a definite contender. Looks great. Must admit I do like that watch and I love citizen I already own a citizen eco drive pro dive 300 but with the Pepsi bezel and I can't wear it for work i don't know what I'd do if I scratched it haha so many to choose from
  14. Seiko 5 looks idea to be honest but I do like the old classic G shocks but it's hard to find them new, I'm not into the big bulky G shocks I've got small wrists haha but yeah I'm in construction so need something to deal with the day to day abuse, yeah rotundus G5610 is the type of G shock I'd prefer but there hard to get hold of
  15. Hi all first post and I'm interested In buying a watch for work but don't know if I'm been a bit to picky and wondering if someone could help me. I'm after a watch in the £50-£100 price range, i want it to be fairly roubust and preferably have scatchproof glass and not to chunky like the Casio Gshock I also prefer analogue watches to digital any help would be great thank you.
