  1. Welcome to the forum smaller and a lot under budget SNKL41 is similar I reckon you have it right anyway, buy what you like not what you think others like.
  2. They do seem to be good value even at the current prices extras being added like free rubber strap etc i managed to get a pair early on. now just need to decide on colours etc

  6. The stem has broken off the crown on my Seiko 6309 diver so need to source both parts. Anyone know of a good source? found one on the bay but could be made from anything lol Thanks in advance. Daz

  9. They are a great inexpesive watch, I do have a soft spot for them lol. i have the black, white and also the orange. the blue has been on the wish list for a number of years but one day. some great pics there guys, need to get that sorted.

  13. Wow you guys do look ahead, not even thought about Christmas yet but by chance I am wearing a Seiko from Paul AKA Brummie that he gave me Christmas, cheers mate great watch, love it
  14. If it's new I would have no issues using it in the pool, if it is used and not certified beware I have had one that did get a little wet when I just cleaned it in water.
  15. I have heard the sea urchin called baby sumo could well be one of the reasons
  16. I started my apprenticeship in the mid 80's and have only used that method a couple of times but with the rit skills it does work.

  18. Been lucky so far Only time I nearly got caught was when I had a new watch arrive and unwrapped the parcel on my way out to town. Took it with me thinking I would get it resized in town after they told me they wanted £25 I decided i should not be a lazy arse and it could wait until I got home. It also confirmed that I am tight.
  19. Don't bother making sure that it's to the second I don't need that type of accuracy to run my life if its within a few seconds then that is good enough for me.
