  1. Master RDM My pride and joy since 2007.
  2. Nice example but I can't look at one of those without thinking of this - "Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea." Courtesy, of course of the late, great Douglas Adams.
  3. I was talking to a local trading standards officer last night, they do impound fakes if they are being imported for sale and apparently destroy with a road roller!
  4. You must be a very perceptive person then? I don't know them all myself. I'm actually glad that people are still disturbed by what goes on and willing to let the government and others know. Silent compliance and acceptance of idiotic "current things", as you call them, leads to bad places.
  5. Never go on Ebay after a couple or so (or more) drinks.
  6. I remember, as a young lad in a small town in North Wales wanting to borrow the Bond books from the local library. They did not seem to be there so I asked, they were locked in a back room as they were not considered to be suitable for general availability! How times have changed. As for Dr Who some of the recent stuff is OK but they desperately need some decent scripts.
  7. Unfortunately not I'm guessing that most people at the bottom that spend the most don't give a monkeys about old watches or for that matter any watches. I don't think there's any doubt about the nature of the lottery. However it's there, if anything worthwhile comes of it them the beneficiaries, no matter how small a group they may be should enjoy the proceeds while they are there. Spending the less well of peoples money on vanity projects that they will never visit, which this is, is morally wrong but unfortunately a sign of the times we live in these days. I don't disagree with you, the lottery shouldn't exist but it does. If you know a way to get the money spent more usefully then go ahead.

  10. You say deployment he says deployant. I'll have a buckle thanks.
  11. Those are cooling fins, it's really some sort of high energy weapon.
  12. You do take a nice photo. Of a lovely watch, good idea the leather NATO, must try one on mine.
