  1. Does anyone have any experience with oris watches? I am considering purchasing Williams day date with stainless steel bracelet in blue and would like to know if anyone has had any issues with reliability or quality. All comments are welcome
  2. Thanks for your reply. Do they have any value for resale? My mother has a 9ct gold womens watch that she would like to sell but unsure of cost
  3. Hi all, I would like some information on record watches if anyone has any. pictures to follow
  4. Thanks, the watch is a wenger so not expensive but wouldnt want to spend £50 to get it fixed
  5. Hi all, I have recently purchased a watch with a missing crown and was wondering if it would be possible to replace it myself or take it to a shop. Any idea on how much it would cost? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks
  6. I have had my watch on for a few hours now, and it hasn't slipped down my arm once
  7. i did think of that, but then my clothes wont fit, so it might be more expensive in the long run
  8. I have been back to Goldsmiths today and they have moved it to the next adjustment on the clasp. The watch does feel a lot better on my wrist, but does have a slight movement when my wrist is cold. I did purchase one of the link removers , but it was made of plastic and it would bend when trying to remove the pin grrrrrrr I have checked, and the half links dont come out
  9. https://www.flickr.com/photos/150667196@N05/32086820186/in/dateposted-public/ it looks as though it has room for slight adjustment, but I could be wrong
  10. It was a Goldsmiths in Newcastle. I have just started my watch collection so haven't taken the plunge in to the premium market yet.
  11. well that is also an option as i paid £20 for the links to be taken out
