  1. This is my second LED watch. The other one has more of dot matrix type LED.
  2. Has anyone got any suggestions on minimal or bauhaus inspired watch around ~£150 or less. Just missed out today on a used Tissot Carson Powermatic 80 going at a decent price of ~£125, which would have fitted the requirements and my budget well.
  3. I'm looking for a minimal style dressy watch and during my search I found the Marloe Cherwell. It's a watch company I'm not familiar with but looks like they are GB based. What's peoples opinion on them with regards to quality? I like the idea that they are GB based, but I suspect that's just the design rather than manufacture.
  4. +1 for Greg. He did a great job of servicing and fixing some issues with my Accutron Spaceview. Really friendly guy too.
  5. I've never been a fan of lead-free, but I guess I'm old school
  6. deano, this is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this forum. I was made welcome from the start and have always felt welcome when I visit. Sadly, a lot of forums have been lost to Facebook and there within bide trolls.
  7. OK, sussed it. Slide lock, hinge open and then move the adjacent link perpendicular to it and slide it out. Easy when you know how :D
  8. I've bought a vintage LED watch, which has a stainless steel strap, and for the life of me I cannot figure how to remove links. There is a sliding locking mechanism in three links at both ends, which I have opened but still can't figure out what to do after that.
  9. Most of my watches are bought used and typically the first thing I do is change the strap.
  10. Loving this dail Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
  11. Nothing special price wise, but love this watch... Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
  12. I've recently got my SpaceView back from Greg at Woodland Technical, having had it serviced and some issues rectified. Really pleased with the service from Greg and loving my watch. Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
