  1. Thanks people. I couldn’t find it anywhere. Im happy now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hi all, Can anyone tell me who made this movement please. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi, why would the esa 924.001 work at double the speed ? Its an old one with the pull crown to advance the time to set. Pull and hold advances 1 hr or supposed to this advances 30 mins. Pull and let go advances 1 min again this does 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hi Folks, I have fitted a VX43 movement in a Lorus watch. The original fault was a problem with the stem falling out but due to the price of the movement it seemed easier to fit a new one. So I did. It seems to run ok until it starts the date change cycle then it stops. I have checked what seemed the obvious, ie clearance between dial and movement and all seems ok. The movement has spacing feet anyway. Also he same day i fitted another movement it a quartz rotary, that was a 715 type, and that does the same although that stops at any time it feels like it. My spidersenses tend to point to the hands not fitting correctly but have tried refitting on both. I dont want to send either to the crap box as they are both cosmetically good. I am wondering what I have missed??? Taa in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I do like the watch. The crystal is the only one I had what fitted. It was better than the one that wasnt on. And it keeps the dial clean 🤣 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hi everyone, Can anyone date this and maybe a value. I know its not worth much. All I can seem to find is its Chilex, French, lorsa 8fa. Its the era I’m interested in, i suspect late 70’s ish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Well after reading all that I thank you all for your help. I did technically adjust the bezel and it seemed to line up ok. Personally I think its a nice looking watch and I think I will keep it. It works ok and is tidy cosmetically. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I have seen the website. I cant find any signs of this model anywhere. And the logo is different. Thats why i was asking the question. I appreciate companies change logos and even whole brand names i see it enough at work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I know its not an expensive watch. I was wondering more about the company or brand really 🤣 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I got this off a friend of mine. When I look on ebay they are not very expensive £20-30. But it looks too well made to cost that. I am curious as the Shark logo on the dial is not the same as the ones on ebay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Sorry people i missed a 7 out. GS77989 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hi everyone, Can anyone id this for me. Its out of a rotary gs7989/29. It need a crown and stem but rotary want £25 for one. I cant see any make or numbers anywhere unless it is behind the dial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. This is my point for 10 euros its a bargain. The strap is worth more then that. I have one very similar. I expect no one likes them because it doesn’t say Rotary or Seiko on them. But I still think they are good value decent quality watches. And again I know they are not Mega Bucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I know they are not brilliant but they are not bad either. Not as bad as some shop branded stuff. I have half a dozen or so which I have acquired that all look ok. Its just no one is interested in buying any. And they are all worth a tenner of anyones money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
