  1. So I went for Bought from our very own sales corner - it is my first Seiko......I don’t think it will be my last. I think I get it now.....!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks for a super easy transaction my friend. I will wear it in good health. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Nice bit of advertising there [emoji6] I have messaged you!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Got the awning and the misses won’t let me buy a Cadac!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I am looking for a daily wearer that will withstand my new found love - my VW T5 camper!!! I need ideally, a watch that will withstand knocks and bangs and lots of beach time but still be of decent quality. I prefer 42mm - 45mm and looking to spend up to £400. I have an Omega planet ocean, Longines legend diver, OrisBC1 Christopher Ward Sapphire and unfortunately and Apple Watch (which I love for work purposes!!) so would be interested in other or different brands. Ideas welcome!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. A friendly DPD delivery man has just been to see me and this is what he left I was a little nervous about ordering as I haven’t had a Chris w before and this model seemed to generate lots of interesting comments.....however..... It is gorgeous.....it feels heavy and well made, the 40mm is a perfect size, the dial is beautiful - all in all I am super pleased. It compares very well in quality to my 36mm OP. In short I am very happy that I took the plunge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So the auction has ended and I sold the delightful watch for £137 so after PayPal fees (only £1 eBay fees) I reckon I may have just broken even.....phew!!! Lesson learned......or is it[emoji23] the door bell is going to ring again tomorrow..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I know - May have been a lucky purchase!!! Ha I worked in Atherstone for years - it is indeed a small world! For those who are interested...... I may still escape without my pants down! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. PO 45mm today for doing absolutely nothing!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. To be fair it is already on £1.98 on the bay after only 15 minutes on there!!! Guess some people have no taste!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Damn my plan to ‘loose’ the Xeric backfired.....thanks though [emoji106] The dial is interesting and the GMT function is kind of unique but at retail of $500 [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So my ‘bored in lockdown’ purchase of a Mystery quartz watch from Xeric arrived from the US today Let’s see what’s inside....after disinfecting of course Fairly nice box...promising maybe?? Xeric do some hideous watches so maybe not!! Nice internal watch box....getting excited now!! Not so excited anymore.......silly size 46mm and daft printing on the crystal. So for those who interested it cost $124 plus customs charges so approx £120. Probably going straight on the bay!!! Perhaps won’t experiment with mystery watches again. 13. I was bored and you inspired me....I ordered one too!! We will have to compare when they arrive....[emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You know you are right - my father in law has had jags, Mercs, range rovers and now he has a Lexus and will never change brand and says they are far superior - maybe I need to move on from Rolex et al and experience something new......hmmmm?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I have seen a pre owned 2001 SBGT003 for a decent price (under 1k) with box etc - not quite vintage but nice all the same.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
