  1. You know why I couldn’t find it. I feel like a right plonker now. I was looking in clock parts apologies for wasting your time! And thank you for your help! You can tell I’m new to this can’t you? Lol
  2. It’s the mechanical movement by miyota I beleive there called?
  3. Hi Simon, Do you know if anywhere I can source parts for a few 8200A movements I have. I need the day and date wheels for all 3 and also can’t seem to locate service sheets for the watch. Any help would be Awsome! Kind regards, Josh
  4. Hi guys, Just getting into Horology and teaching myself on some cheap movements so picked up a few 8200a movements as they seem plentiful and have day and date. My question is I can’t seem to find where I can buy spare parts for them. Can someone point me in the correct direction. I need a Day and date disc for both movements and probably some other items as I strip them further. Any help would be Awsome!
  5. Hi JoT thanks for the reply. Where is this archive you speak of? Just for future reference. And I will have a look when removing the balance and update this when I know. Hi Taz Awsome thanks for your help! Are there places that supply parts for them movements still or would I have to buy others and use as spares? Sorry lots of questions very new to all this.
  6. Hi guys, I've recently inherited a vintage watch. I’ve searched around and cant find much about the watch and wanted to know if someone could help me identify it? It is a 25 jewel Swiss Automatic made by Concerta. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CwHDh5trHEODtjLuJIgvBXNtG60SaK7D/view?usp=drivesdk On the back plate there is a number 932 (Possibly Model Number?) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zcn5TUZvSeCZGm6g5o_2kFf8U_2nxA2Q/view?usp=drivesdk The movement itself has a number of things written on it: ‘Brevets’ (Which I beleive is french for Patent? ‘Twenty Five 25 Jewels Unadjusted’ ’Swiss Made’ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uq8Or9wU0cMjo1drbgAR_EuQ7UZ5Rcmw/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FH38VbxseIfeSmLn9ZBbMQaplbjmp_Kp/view?usp=drivesdk Another little thing I noticed (Although couldn’t photograph because of how small it was). There was something scratched into the inside of the back plate. 29876 \ (too small to work out) 2 \ 1975 Possibly the movement, some initials, number made and date? This was a watch inherited by my grandfather so any help identifying as I want to get it running properly again would be Awsome! I also Purchased a Vintage watch to teach myself how to service an automatic watch without the worry of damaging my grandads. It’s a Mondea 25 Chambord. I can’t seem to find much about this watch either other then Mondea was owned by Zenith at one point in time? Here are a few pics. Any help with this watch as well would be Awsome!
