  1. wow that is actually gorgeous! Nice to see something a little different from them.
  2. Thanks to @Davey P todays watch is this rather fetching number from fat face. I'm a big fan of the internal bezel it is very much reminiscent of my Alpanist which can only be a good thing, this is my first fashion watch and I must admit I can see the appeal. It's bigger than I would normally wear but it wears very nicely with the curved lugs even on my 6.6" wrist.
  3. Im sorely tempted by one of these what size wrists do you have?
  4. Thank you all for the advice i've got a small light box on order and am going to start practicing with wrist shots from different angles and in different lighting at weekends when i have a bit more time on my hands.
  5. I finally took my modded SKX off and switched over to my Alpanist today with its suitibly badass strap
  6. To my shame i must admit I like alot of Hublots more subtle designs I am a complete sucker for this: https://www.hublot.com/en-us/watches/classic-fusion/classic-fusion-ceramic-blue-chronograph-45-mm
  7. it's the one i would have got so definitely great taste!
  8. I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark with this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CASIO-Analogue-Digital-Quartz-Watch-GA-2000-1A9ER/dp/B07PFF5GZD/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=casio+gshock&qid=1596575954&sr=8-4
  9. Theres the obvious gshocks and skxs/tunas or there is the hamiltons, the khakis are bomb proof classics or you can grab a hamilton scuba auto for £460 in the beaverbrooks sale at the moment and they are rediculous value for money.
  10. Sorting the bezel shouldnt be too hard, just pop it off with a proper bezel tool and some elbow grease then you will be able to see whatever your woes are but a clean and some silicon grease should sort it for you worst case scenarion you may need a new spring click which are cheap as chips and as easy as anything to replace as i highly doubt the bezel or case will be the problem. Those 7s26 movements are essentially dispoosable, any half way competent watch repairer/maker/jeweler will be able to switch that over for you and probably for alot less money than Seiko will charge. The ot
  11. Does anyone here know if its possible to get hold of replacement crystals and gaskets for shocks? Or if replacing broken ones is a service that casio offers?
  12. Hi I was wondering if anyone here has had any experiance with luming a watch using black lume? I am hoping to find some of superluminiva or c3 brightness but cabt find much online about them. Also has anyone got any tips for luming unlumed markers?
  13. change of strap for a more vintage feel this evening: I'm glad it looks good after all the hassel i had to go through to get spring bars for it... For those that are interested the strap is a strapcode tapered mesh in polished finish and the spring bars are 1.78mm with 1.1mm chunky ends and had to be imported from the US from the only seller on ebay that makes them, fortunatley despite basiclly cornering the market they are not taking the mick with the prices.
  14. Thread incoming but probably not until next month when i can get hold of a camera for the up close shots. Besel insert is the bb58 from namoki, they're very easy to get right provided you do them last so you can line it up with the watch face properly. I used dlw hands and would not recommend them due to the very lack luster lume, especially if you have superluminova or c3 on your dial i would look at a guy called "dial maker" on facbook as hes just started doing super lume hands.
