  1. Hello, Not sure if anyone follows Long Island Watches on Youtube, but he's released his own watch. It seems to be an updated SKX, which isn't a bad thing. I'm thinking of gettig it as a daily (I'm 99% sure he posts to the UK). What does everyone else think? Any other options out there with a similar spec sheet? https://www.longislandwatch.com/Islander_Watches_s/2006.htm
  2. I went to a lecture by Roger W Smith a couple of years ago, he's a really interesting guy who obviously loves what he does. Well worth going too.
  3. Oris seem to be a watch maker on the way up, I've noticed more and more of their models in my local shops. Good luck with your search
  4. Bringing back some memories here.
  5. If only I had the money spare, I'm guessing it'l go for a fair bit more than I can afford.
  6. Welcome, maybe your small obsession will turn into a bigger obsession. It did with me.
  7. Welcome to the forum, looking forward to the pictures also.
  8. For that type of watch I would stay away from Ebay too, there are far too many unscrupulous people on it.
  9. I thought it was 50 posts needed? It is 60?
  10. Same with me, they look a little fussy too with too many buttons.

    Cars

Some lovely classic cars here. I love the thought of classic cars but I just can't give up the silly little gadgets in modern cars, like parking sensors, remote central locking etc.
  12. Welcome back, a change in perspective can be a good thing too, no point doing something just to do it.
  13. It's your collection, so if that what brings you joy then good for you.
  14. Of the ones you listed, it would be the Blancpain for me. Out of all the ones on the page the Omega Aqua Terra is the one I like best.
