Hello, I have a Ultrasonic cleaner that I use for cleaning stuff but never used it on a watch, I have bought a watch that needs a clean but I'm worried it might remove some of the finish. My question is, would the mid links be OK? Also some of them could do with a touch up, what is the best method of touching up some of the links?

Seagull 1963 Pilot - Opinion wanted
happyal27 replied to happyal27's topic in Russian & Chinese Watches
Had it for a couple of months now and I love it, I can't keep it off my wrist. I'm glad I bought pne. Where did you get the othe Seagul models you guys posted above? They look great watches too. -
Hello, Not sure if anyone follows Long Island Watches on Youtube, but he's released his own watch. It seems to be an updated SKX, which isn't a bad thing. I'm thinking of gettig it as a daily (I'm 99% sure he posts to the UK). What does everyone else think? Any other options out there with a similar spec sheet? https://www.longislandwatch.com/Islander_Watches_s/2006.htm

happyal27 replied to Tazmo61's topic in Watch Discussion Forum
I went to a lecture by Roger W Smith a couple of years ago, he's a really interesting guy who obviously loves what he does. Well worth going too.- 1 reply

Oris Depthguaue.. Discontinued?
happyal27 replied to Highland Laddie's topic in Watch Discussion Forum
Oris seem to be a watch maker on the way up, I've noticed more and more of their models in my local shops. Good luck with your search -
Bringing back some memories here.

If only I had the money spare, I'm guessing it'l go for a fair bit more than I can afford.

Welcome, maybe your small obsession will turn into a bigger obsession. It did with me.

Welcome to the forum, looking forward to the pictures also.

For that type of watch I would stay away from Ebay too, there are far too many unscrupulous people on it.

Welcome, and nice collection.

I thought it was 50 posts needed? It is 60?

Same with me, they look a little fussy too with too many buttons.

Some lovely classic cars here. I love the thought of classic cars but I just can't give up the silly little gadgets in modern cars, like parking sensors, remote central locking etc.

Welcome back, a change in perspective can be a good thing too, no point doing something just to do it.
