What do u want me to contribute? A song or a poetry recital? I thanked the initial couple of replies via the emojis on each post, then I had to disappear abroad for work. If ur offended by the coldness of the internet perhaps stay off it.

Hi, looking for a bit of help, I’m after a new watch for running, biking swimming etc, not a Garmin etc. I did Like the look of the new Breitling endurance pro but found the cost a bit off putting, that and my wife would divorce me. Any alternatives people would like to suggest? Thanks.

Does the watch have an alarm? -
Cheers guys! All look lovely but nothing really rad! Any more ideas?

Hi, thought I would gather some opinions from all the experienced members on here! I'm looking to buy something a bit different with an alarm, don't really wanna spend more than £200, I’m easy on what sort it is, not fussed whether it’s digital or conventional but must have an alarm and look a bit different! I look forward to your help!

Thanks for that. My week gets better! So obviously there’s a value impact? Which brings me onto my next question, the watch was sold as an English Harwood with a Swiss movement, it hasn’t go that so can it be returned? its a well respected shop in Berlin selling far more valuable watches than mine, I don’t think it’s been done or purpose just an honest mistake, would I have grounds to return it? Or is it a case of suck it up? thanks for all the help. It’s much appreciated!

I expected as much, I’ve brought and sold bikes for a long time and I’m certainly not gonna be unrealistic, just hoping to recoup a decent amount of my outlay! If I could squirrel it away I would! Ok, I’m a bit of a Luddite how do I do that! I can’t post images direct, it says via a URL! i have just put it on eBay so I’ll see how it goes, there’s photos attached on there! I’m an eBay newbie so it’s probably under plumbing or something!

Hi all, thanks accepting my request to join! i have a question I’m hoping someone can help me with! I love my watches but not really a serious collector, couple of years ago I popped into Harwood watch and clock repairers in Dunster, and it started a bit of an obsession! whilst in Germany recently I found one in a specialist watch shop and purchased it, it had been cleaned and serviced. My wife went ballistic! My question is, is there a market for these or is it a real niche market, if I was to sell it, where would be the best place, I hate EBay and would rather sell via forums

Hi, I have a Harwood watch I’d like to sell, where is the best place to sell? I’m rubbish at EBay and would rather deal with people! Are these watches collectible or more of a niche market? thanks for your help!
