  1. Thanks. I tried that but I can't find a movement that's the same. The bottom dial of the chronograph is an indicator of the various "modes" of the watch, rather than being sweeping time dials. I can't find anything that's similar. Emailing them (and accurist) hasn't yielded a reply either. Maybe covid has the workers at home and not working at the moment. For info, it looks like this (google image)
  2. Hi, I have a late 90's watch that whilst not expensive, is precious to me as it was a present at the time to celebrate completing my PhD. Over the years it has finally stopped working and things like hte buttons don't depress properly and the crown doesn't alter the hands etc, so I'm assuming that the movement is completly broken and needs replacing I belive it has a Miyota AS10 movement inside (does that make sense? I'm guessing a bit at what the codes mean). A quick google seems to suggest that this is now discontinued. Can anyone help me to find out where I might be able to get hold of a replacement movement? All I seem to get directed ot is a bunch of rather dodgy looking websites.... I'm happy to try to fit it myself by the way. Plenty of time on my hands at the moment in locked-down Britain! Thanks in advance. Rich
  3. Thanks both. Stdape, can you send a link to the pics you’ve found? I haven’t seen anything with the rather distinctive vertical and horizontal hour markers anywhere.
  4. Hi, Digging in our garden last weekend we found this watch buried. I’m guessing it’s been there for several decades, but the lack of degradation on the strap suggests that it’s some sort of plastic and I’m pretty sure that the crystal is also plastic. I’m guessing that this isn’t worth much but it was an interesting find. The fact that the Rama brand seems to be an established company and the back of the watch says that it was made in Switzerland got me curious to find out more. Can an anyone shed any light on this watch? thanks Rich https://photos.app.goo.gl/dko8HCwadwKyrBiu8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/SMXVjSF7tLcs8H289 https://photos.app.goo.gl/rkxuLH317ubzKAoR8
