I also have another watch (the very same but smaller diameter). Bought 1986. It has lost the crown. Can anybody guide me who can repair it. I thank you in advance for your support on these matter. Very nice

  9. Hi Folks, I'm thinking of investing in the below Link Calibre S, pre-owned. I currently have the Link Chrono CT1111 as worn by Mr Bourne and it has served me well. That would be my 7th Tag to date. I just want to get a sense from existing Calibre S owners on any feedback they'd like to share, be it positive or negative on this watch; http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Tag Heuer/Link/CJF7110.BA0592/10069/item/70975 Much appreciated.

  15. Hi, I have loved watches for most of my life. I am lucky to have some interesting watches. I would not say I was a collector, as my wife won't let me. I prefer Swiss automatics/manual. looking at some of the posts on your forum this appears to be a bit boring. I am open to new ideas and welcome any advice for my next watch purchase. I wear my Omega SM daily and do not own watches that sit pristine in boxes. Regards Chris Tudor Oyster Prince Date Omega Geneve 9ct Gold Omega SM Titanium
  16. Recently I bid on a nickel cased Masonic watch on ebay. Because I was away for the week of the sale I left a high bid to allow some leeway. To my surprise when I returned home I found the watch was mine, but it had taken nearly all my bid. When I received the watch it was in good order with a highly polished case, perfect dial, and fitted with a swiss 7j 3/4 plate Atlas movement running strongly, all I have done is replace the crystal. My question is why are these watches so in demand, are there many Masons out there looking, or are they just in short supply. Maybe there are many collectors li

  21. I took advantage of Roy's recent sale and purchased a gold coloured Stellaris Electronic Q Transistorized watch. Yes, that is correct, it is full of Q goodness, schematically speaking! The front... The rear... The second hand... A squirrel... Anyway, it works quite well. Using Paul's website, electric-watches.co.uk, it would seem the movement is an ESA 9150. It is operating at 21,600, as demonstrated in one of the photos above. If I'm off the mark on this perhaps Paul can set me straight. Later, William

And how the difference would affect the price at the time to sell? Thank you, Mike
