Oh good I can hardly wait :(:(

I knew you`d be excited :partytime:

Btw I`ve just realised that my topic title could have given the wrong impression, of course there`s (obviously)nothing wrong with buying a Seiko Monster, what I meant was I`d bought a watch I hadn`t intended to after I recently said I was cutting back on my watch purchases,  I  just couldn`t resist it, sorry about the misunderstanding

Anyway, back to sorting out some suitable photos of the superb item in question. Keep watching this space

On the wrist..

& here with it`s older sibling..

SEIKO 5 SPORTS  SRP489K1, cal.4R36A  24 Jewels & SNZF45K1, cal.7S36C, 23 Jewels.

You`ll notice the newbie is slightly larger then it`s older sibling- 48mm excluding crown compared to 42mm ex-crown, I like the new chapter ring and was really surprised &  impressed with the fact that the  Cal. 4R36A movement is hand windable

You can see I was a bit rushed earlier, what I should have said was...

of course there`s (obviously)nothing wrong with buying a Seiko Monster as long as it`s not the totally fugly 200 meter version $ (29).gif

Just as revolting as the fugly 200 metre version - the only good thing about it is the movement - oh dear, oh dear, oh dear (I'm happy :) to be the minority as I realise that many will like it ) :(:(:(:(
