I've seen something I like the look of, but it needs a new movement. An ETA 2879. Is there a substitute for this movement ? Perhaps a 2878?

You can get such a movement for 50$ or maybe even less. If you just need a part you'll find it for 10$ or so...

There is no existing movement  :(. So I have to source one....As cheaply as possible. :yes:

Got used exact same caliber movements of in all sorts of conditions and aprox 860 NOS parts for eta2879.

What exactly is the issue with the movement you got.

It was 2.5 years ago. He's probably either fixed it or binned it :laugh:
