Drinking & The Booze Bags Thread

Draught Guiness, bitter top, or white wine for me - never liked lager.

A good brandy always goes down well.

Stella, Guiness draught and Laphroaig.

Not all in the same glass!

What is Laphroaig?

Unfortunately I am more than familiar with the other 2 as I am a binge drinker sad.gif

It started maybe 8 years ago when I was always working away, usually abroad.

Expense accounts are a terrible temptation, I used to get blasted (not just drunk) most nights just for something to do, once you have pressed your trousers and flicked the channels you HAVE to go out and socialise.

Over the past years I have managed to go months without a drink, I don't even like it (alcohol) but the damage has been done and one drink sees me having a lot sad.gif

I went from Xmas to last week without having or wanting a drink but last week my partner turned up with a bottle of Polish Vodka......it's gone.

Perhaps Griff can give the key to kicking the habit once and for all biggrin.gif

Does the bottle have a twisted neck?Have you registered the bottle with JD? smile.gif

Hi Alex,

From memory as I'm at work, it's almost like the whole bottle has a twist to it but's more pronounced looking at the neck. I think it was something like a Bicentenial limited edition or something. I'll check once I'm home.

Regards

Paul

Probably round off with a couple of Tiger beers later smile.gif

What's that Rush album like? Any good? I wasn't too keen on much of their work after Grace Under Pressure.
