Hard to believe some people

I'm constantly amazed by the number of people who post unusable images with their listings on eBay. I've seen some with half-a-dozen images yet not a one in focus -- in an age of autofocus that takes real effort.

Here's a stunner from today (one of two photos, the other just as bad).

How do they expect to sell that exactly?

I think a lot of infrequent sellers can't be bothered to take decent pictures. Odd as today most phones will take decent photos - mine will take 100 shots and suggest the best one for me. A godsend for someone who shakes as much as I do when trying to photograph watches .

Or maybe they're just thick ?:hmmm9uh:

I have a customer who sells all sorts of what I  would consider unsalable stuff on Evilbay and he recently tried to sell a pocket watch. He brought it in to ask me why I thought his buyer wanted a refund. He'd taken a pic with the flash on and the flash reflection had completely obscured a dirty great damaged area on the dial. He honestly didn't think this damage was a problem as he'd mentioned "a small mark" in his listing !

it is the bain of my life. I will NOT bid on an item where the photo will not zoom. Simple. I come to the conclusion that they are hiding something. Especially when they are a business seller with a lot of items for sale. If us private individuals can do it with our mobile phone, why can't they? grrrrrr!:bash:
