Your Favourite Bulova

Recommended Posts

Like is says, have you got a favourite Bulova.  Despite having a few UHF Bulovas this relative cheapie is my favourite.....

Good Solid Watch, nice bezel, good lume and it’s prettier than my other Bulovas, except maybe the Accutron Snorkel.   Pity about the gold PVD but still my favourite and as accurate as the Precisionists.

Anymore for Anymore :)

Cheers

I really like their moonwatch but the pushers and lug width have always stopped me getting one. Quite like the military UHF job too!

Hmm, favourite Bulova, well, I have a few of the brand in my collection & really like them all but push comes to shove this is my favourite...

BULOVA 96B258 Special Edition Lunar Pilot Chronograph

I can understand how the pushers may not be to everyone`s taste but I rather like them

As for the lug width- it`s the same as the Omega Speedmaster ..

AS ever you are all wrong.  The 1950s in house are lovely, and prices are on the rise.  And I want a spaceview

Post the citizen takeover I like a lot of the designs, but in the flesh they leave me cold.  Not sure why but I have tried it with enough of them now.

Now then Scott, the thread title is "Your Favourite Bulova" not  " What is the best Bulova" so we are not wrong

My fave is the Spaceview re-issue from 2015.
It wasn't really a re-issue, it was just Citizen digging through the back-catalogue and seeing what they could "homage" for the new generation.

Still, lack of tuning fork aside, it runs a HAQ 262KHz movement with a nice smooth sweep second hand.

Nice big case and unusual shield shape, I like it.

What about the rather-more-like-a-real-re-issue from ~2010?  Slightly different proposition from a financial point of view, admittedly!

Im sorry to say they're a brand I just cant get any love for. Not for a minute suggesting there's anything wrong with them, they're just not for me.

Amazingly we've just been talking about watches in the work and I mentioned the Dave Scott NASA mission Bulova.     That would be my favourite.    :D

No current Bulova but I did have a lovely Astronaut hummer a while back.     That was sold to our honourable host.

My one and only bulova at the moment (the  accutron snorkel 2). Although I do fancy a vintage accutron at some point. I love the internal bezel on this, the case and bracelet are solid beasts and the bracelet is the longest I've ever had on a watch. The second hand is sooooo smooth too. My only criticism is it wears big on my small wrists.

I am not a big fan of the new 'tribute' Bulovas but I own two. One Moonview and one Dave Scott Moonwatch. The rest of my Bulovas are old school.  I don't have just one favorite.
