Need Help Indentifying Pocket Watch

Recommended Posts

Hello All.  I have been trying to research a pocket watch my grandfather gave me that belonged to his grandfather.  The movement doesn't have any serial number on it.  I believe there is a serial number on the case but it is REALLY hard to see.  I would really like to know the history of the watch.  I am not concerned with value.  As far as I am concerned it is priceless, just want to know history.  We believe dating to be late 1800s.  My great great grandfather was from Germany.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry JasonsMom, really, the photos you linked to are too small to help anyone trying to help you. ah - - and I doubt anyone will go to the bother of registering and signing in to "shutterfly" to be able to bring them up to any reasonable size.

From what you have posted and on the photo gallery, it's an enamel dialled Pocket Watch. Wish I could be of more help - -
