Jeans made in Japan on the old machines that used to make GOOD jeans.

Overpriced to hell these days though

Yep like a lot of things prices of decent stuff has went through the roof.

And in some cases just complete madness. If you were lucky enough to have done a bit of Click and Collect last week and got a pair.

I've only just noticed this, but find it very useful....the fact that spelling mistakes are now highlighted with a red line under them as found in MS Word. At least, they are on my PC....very handy.

Away Days

The undercover plod caught us early doors, follow us they said

But being smarter than the average plod we bailed out the first time we got stopped at traffic lights

And then we went for a pint and some boobies

But we got moved on and then plod turned up looking for us again

Then we were escorted off the premises

On the way home there was a bit of a scrap in the services with some Boro lads but no pics of that, I was to busy defending myself

Top day out

I like achieving something that I said I was going to do - so fixing watches has given me little wins this year after a crap summer for outside jobs - last year I built my greenhouse, two pairs of gates, dug a pond, made a barrel vaulted arbour out of two curve topped fence panels and a rake of roofing battens (I did manage to re-seal it and varnish it before the crap weather set in lol, but that was it for this year) ...

SWMBO cooked us a lovely pork joint in the slow cooker the other day. Not only was it delish, but it provided me with a rare treat for my breakfast next day...toast and dripping! This always takes me back to childhood when Mother always had a large, white pudding bowl full of dripping for use in the kitchen...you can't beat it for roast potatoes.

Breakfast.

Breakfast.

The fact that Burger King have anounnced their new vegan burger, but in the small print at the bottom of the ad it says that it will be cooked on shared equipment. Thankfully, the chairman of the British Vegan society appeared on camera to say that she wasn't worried about this fact and was happy to eat one. So...a message to to all vegans...it doesn't matter...get over it.

It took me a while, but I now see where you plucked that reference from. While I'm definity a fan of black pudding, never tried white. Can you describe what it's like? What's it made from, and is it like a normal sausage...or an aquired taste...? I would like to try it as it looks good, but not sure if it's available down here.

Different recipies from different parts of the country.

Skirlie is another, cooked over a camp fire. My mother in-law made the best, although my sister in-laws is close.

I must stress I'm not talking about anyone on TWF, but I like when people stand up to bullies and online trolls.
