Hamilton 950 Railroad Watch

Recommended Posts

This is a Hamilton Model 3, 16 size, railroad approved Grade 950.  The serial number dates the movement to 1922.  With 23 jewels including a jewelled barrel and adjusted to 5 positions.  The movement has a complete set of gold train wheels and the bridge plates are all flashed in white gold (notice the contrast with the nickel winding wheels).  The movement has the original double sunk Montgomery dial and blued steel spade hands.

The movement is housed in a screw back and bezel gold filled case by the Keystone Watch case Company which has the addition of dust proof screw under the winder.  A very high grade and top of the range movement in it's day.
