Pocket watch identification please

Recommended Posts

I found a railroad style pocket watch whilst house clearing my parents home. It has a plain face with no manufacturers identification. The movement however has the name URANIUM stamped on it along with Swiss Made. Can anyone provide any information? Google hasn’t helped.

Most likely a generic swiss watch. I believe they were called contract watches. Someone needed a watch branded with their own logo and stuff so they paid a factory to manufacture such an item. Usually they're not very special.
