Watch shops in Sydney

Recommended Posts

I’m visiting there soon for my brothers 50th birthday, and it would be a shame to go all that way and go and look at what’s on offer.

I’d probably be looking at pre-owned, but could also be tempted with something new if the price is right.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Didn't really see anything out of the ordinary other than the usual suspects in the city centre.

How are you getting there, a stop over for a day or two in Hong Kong or Singapore and there are more watch shops than you can shake a stick at.

Going via Abu Dhabi. Unfortunately I only have a 3 hour wait between flights, so won’t have much time to look in th airport.

Will have to look at the Singapore or Hong Kong option next time.

I was there a couple of years back but got very firm, 'don't you even dare' signals from the other half each time I spotted a watch shop. I have to say, as with Bond, that what I did manage to see was the same as you'd expect in any city centre. If you have anything particular in mind, have you looked at the brand website to see if they have any stores there? Or google pre-owned watches Sydney. The whole city area from Central Quay up is very walkable. If your staying in the burbs, that could be up to 50 miles away. Sydney has a lot of 'burbs, especially heading West.

I love the place, but it has become very, very expensive, so you might not get any bargains.

Make sure you buy an Akubra!
