Store bought watch.

Recommended Posts

An elbico pocket watch from Canada.    Folks living far from the cities would visit their local mercantile. And ask to see the catalogue of their favoured supplier.

In this case the supplier was Levy Brothers Company, hence the phonetic name. The 17 jewel movement has been housed in an American watch case company

product from Toronto.   1919-1920 would be a solid date for this watch, so close to being antique.

The case is screw front and back, and has kept the movement very clean.
