Interesting, the 2nd one has got "Wehrmachtswerk" on the dial. Die Wehrmacht is the name for the German armed forces before and during World War II, but the watch style looks quite modern to me. Amazing how watch design has hardly changed at all over the years.
The 1st one looks like a nice piece of retro 1970's cool, and I'd be happy to wear that one - ignoring the fact that it's got "ASS" written on it in large capital letters, of course! :laughing2dw:
I found a Swiss trademark registration for "ASS", but it's for cigarettes and other tobacco products, by a company that became the Swiss arm of Philip Morris. I haven't found a brand of cigarettes called ASS though, so I've no idea what they did with it. It was still being renewed into the 1990s.
