Staring at 21.00 on Monday 10th June Forces TV they are showing Gerry Anderson's cult "U.F.O." sci-fi series (remastered and uncut apparently) from the early 1970's  Might be one for @The Mystery

Yes!  I'm back in business!    Thanks to @Roy, @JoT and of course yourself Roger, who helped to solve the problem! Watching 'Minder' on ITV4+1.

@Q.Lotte...this might be one for you to look at too, bro...remember the zip wire we had down mum and dad's garden and the 'Corgi' UFO 'Interceptor' doused in lighter fuel and arriving in flames...

Denver & Rio Grande (1952)

Dramatisation of the building of the famous Rocky Mountain railway parts of which are still operating today, although the line through the Royal Gorge is now a heritage route as are most of the branch lines. The film included a spectacular collision  using real locomotives.

What We Do in the Shadows.  A very dark comedy about vampires, from one of the Flight of the Conchords.

The original film is free on Prime, and the tv shows that followed are on iPlayer.  Best theme tune ever

I'm not a soap opera fan but caught a few episodes of this on Talking Pictures TV and was quite interested, especially as it features Kathleen Byron.  I had it in mind to drop Renown Pics an email to see if there was any prospect of a DVD release when, lo and behold, the DVD box set was announced in their last newsletter.  Released today, and posted through my letterbox this morning :)

Watched The Equaliser 2 on Netflix. Just as good as the first one! Denzel Washington makes a great Robert McCall.

Brilliant movie and almost makes you want to buy a Suunto core all black watch.

Sundown (1941) starring a 21 year old Gene Tierney

Three Academy award nominations, well received by critics, relatively big budget for its day at $1.2 million but a box office failure. Set in East Africa but filmed in Hollywood Hills, Mojave Desert and New Mexico.
