Pressure testing

Ball park figure, what will a pressure test set me back please. Thanks for any help.

I got one of these from my daughters one christmas , they only go to 6bar but used it on the wives oyster date and it showed up a leak from the caseback seal which i sorted and she then took it on holiday and used it in the pool everyday , so can recommend for amateur non commercial use for sure.
The first link is a bit cheaper but its from China and my daughter did have to pay duty , so the 2nd UK supplier might be better although a little dearer to begin with.

But to answer your question , around the £100 mark for a chinese 6bar model , Bergeon ones , probably best get a bank loan

Timpsons, no idea of price, wasn't too dear afaik.

There won't be too many recommendations on here to take a watch anywhere near Timpsons, for any reason, let alone a pressure test  :swoon:

Just to be clear, the general concensus is they should stick to repairing shoes and cutting keys, and leave watch repairs to someone who knows what they're doing.

I just know that they are all round the country and can pressure test. Well, place the watch in a machine, press a button and read the printout, lol. I'm not a fan by any means. Paying £50 to swap out a £1 Renata battery certainly rings alarm bells...
