interesting watch @borobiffa.....bares striking resemblance to "dirty dozen W.W.W. watch"..... but smiths not one of the 12..... crowsfoot mark? would love to know more about your watch presumably british military issue?

Yeh you are right i've just been doing a bit of research and the manifolds only last about 10,000 miles, they crack and are 4 grand each. There are 4 of them. So doing the man maths thats 16 grand, top end engine off and the valves never go back, so a regrind so a few weeks labour at what 300 quid an hour at marranello or whatever they called now. So on a 10 hour day thats 3 grand a day over say 10 days, so thats...no i've changed my mind. :doctor:

Hi Enfuseeast. Yes. British military "W10" watch. I think 1968/69. Last English made watch supplied to the British military as far as I know. 21 jewel movement made at their Cheltenham factory. My favourite watch! 466f8c562be806271f3e0ec9e06401dd.jpg
