My 1947 Hamilton, with a beautiful 987A movement, this came to me with a broken main spring, I managed to find a NOS mainspring on Ebay in the states, still in its original (unopened) paper bag from 1952! Was going to do the swap myself but chickened out! I got a local chap to do it and it doesn't miss a beat, for a 72 year old watch it does pretty well. It is a tad on the small side and people always think its a ladies watch but I like to set them straight.

Morning:)

Jobs at work today make it is a hazardous for a watch day , so going with Kahuna Diver Style (my cheap and cheerful beater watch) today, as you can see from the bezel, it's been in the wars at work already.

I see your scratches and raise you mine. Fine taste sir, my Kahuna work watch is now on ready for late shift.

The bezel is about the only complaint I have about the newer Kahunas, it's a lot easier to see scrapes on the finish, my older K2 had a plain metal bezel and it still looks like the day I got it. But considering the price and the fact it can take a beating and keep on working then it's only a minor complaint. :)

After receiving good news from my hospital visit this morning decided to celebrate by taking the VFR out for a spin this afternoon. Glad to report that the vibrations did not destroy my TC-9. [emoji3] Also managed to dodge all the hail and showers as well.
