I thought this looked interesting and put a bid on, despite clearly poor condition. Now, for better or worse, it's mine. An Invicta Specialty 1203 quartz chronograph, with a Ronda 5030.d movement, I believe. It is working and has kept good time all day since I picked it up from the post office this morning. Crystal is badly scratched, maybe cracked, looks like it would need to be replaced. Also, the bezel has lost it's pip and turns both directions, but with no clicks. I don't think it's supposed to go backwards, because it sticks if you press down on it while turning.

Is it likely this could be fixed?

After more investigation ... the bezel appears to be one piece, there's no insert you can remove to release the retaining spring. I can get a knife under the bezel itself. Should I just go ahead and prise the whole thing off by brute force, or am I going to break it?
