I Received A Gift

Recommended Posts

Bridgeman has kindly given to me this rather lovely Orient Watch and frankly, I was stunned to receive such a generous gift.

Thank you Chris.

lovely! Make sure you keep it and dont sell it, a gift on here of a watch should never be sold...if you do then you should really in honour donate the proceeds to the forum...

Don't give him too much guff. I think I said this before and already, he asked me if it was okay to offer it for trade. He said he just couldn't read it with his sight and I understood completely. In fact he even said he wouldn't sell it, didn't think it was right. I encouraged him to do either, it was his as far as I was concerned. No harm, no foul here my friend. What would it make me to give a gift with strings attached?

Nope, he has every right as far as I'm concerned. So please, let sleeping dogs rest.
