Omega today...SMP 2231.80.

Omega SMP

You should be able to determine the watch's number from the serial number. On Seiko's, the first two digits give the year and month, and the last four numbers are the watch's production run number. In this case it should range from 0001 (no. 1) - 1969 (no.1969).

That's now my Grail watch:thumbs_up: Lovely, but I'll make do with this for the weekend

I for one want to see @bridgeman wearing the absolutely gopping iridescent blue NATO that nobody in their right mind would wear in public, and it's only redeeming feature is it's easy to find eyeshadow that matches.

Hamilton today. My provincial hovel plays host to a huge folk festival, and the streets are milling with Morris dancing arseholes and people trying to get their giant litre tankards filled for the price of a pint.

Field-ish watch to negotiate the streets, paracord as a makeshift garrote if they try to start a singaround in the pub.

Bob Dylan is the only acceptable folk music.

Thought I'd give this old feller some time out of the box. Feels really small (31mm), even the strap seems like a bootlace. Ran slow at first, but going well now it's used to my wrist again.

Flickr's back with new uprated infrastructure, apparently. And running like a dog on three legs. :wheelchair:

Add Paul Simon (ex-Garfunkel), Joni Mitchell and Fairport Convention, then you've got my vote. Watch out for people with their fingers stuck in their ears, they won't hear you coming. :backhand-index-pointing-right:

I can't (or perhaps won't) comment on the folk music  --  but, back on watches, this is an extremely lovely thing (despite its smaller diameter)
