Holiday Watch just keeps saying ; Certina Diver Auto

Recommended Posts

So still hunting for the holiday beater... has to be 200M... Certina Diver Auto keeps shouting out as ticking all the boxes.... anyone got any alternatives to this.

The Certina always comes with 20% off if you make a few calls ... so great price. Bezel is steel or aluminium and case back is solid.

So alternatives please ... off shopping tomorrow :-)

What's app he price point @JonnyOldBoy ?

p.s. any 200m Tag

£690 RRP but £550 is achievable.... Auto , I have owned a 200M Tag that cost 3 times as much and these are as good in my opinion....

Amphibia GMT is spot-on in my book: 200m, cheap enough to really not worry about it and the ability to track another timezone is actually useful when overseas!

If you want something nicer you're not far off Glycine Airman territory. I like the look of the Edox Delfin Fleet 1650 too...

Great call in my humble opinion .

That is a lot more than I would spend on a holiday beater. I would be thinking Seiko SKX or Orient Mako.

But if that is your budget, this Steinhart is rather jolly, and offers a gmt hand and 300m.  jubilee-1-1545381100.png

Just had three weeks on holiday. This was the only watch I took. Cheap, bombproof, reliable and 200m (not sure why anyone would need that in a holiday beater though). Highly recommended

I need a 200M watch for the activities we will be doing ,(  it needs to be properly waterproof at shallow depths and able to take a knock or two ) .... so going naked ain't an option I am afraid .... muchas gracias mi amigo ....

Because my family convince me to do activities on holiday that perhaps others would avoid ... it ain't no fight-the-Germans-for-a-recliner type holiday....

Mine got used for swimming (sea and pool), snorkelling and I even jumped down a waterfall (I should know better at my age!).

I went cheap cheap for my holiday watch, plus the orange looks good on a tanned wrist :)

Depends when you need it by? But at £299 for an Auto-Diver the Newmark 71 is simply gorgeous - available on Kickstarter on 18 June 201973cbc5bd10b868be74c3189236b1142e.jpg

Some establishments have the executive suite that's included, just "brass it".

Really do not understand the need for a `holiday' watch unless you are going somewhere really dangerous.........but who wants to spend a couple of weeks in London?
