Sir John Bennett wrist watch from 1925, with Dennison 9ct gold case and Longines B&Co 13,34 movement. Just back from @simon2, who put right the local jeweler's attempt at restoration. I've seen quite a few Bennett pocket watches, but working wristwatches seem to be pretty rare.

33mm steel-cased Relide by Walter Triebold of Rheinfelden. This one probably late ’50s and running on a 25j AS 1673.

With its off-centre rotor, and winding gear as part of the movement rather than being bolted on, it was quite thin for its day and is one of these satisfying autos which seems to start running whenever you go near it.

Regards.

best i could find was this on WUS, Martin. Seems to suggest they were made in the 1990's, thats what they seem to think about theirs any way, but i guess unless it can be dated like a seiko then it could be 80's. Some how the bezel design looks 90's to me rather than the less fussy more angular look that most 80's watches had. That Breitling look in the bezel just looks like my 90's Pulsar y182, which was still being made in the early 2000's. Im just guessing. Is there nothing to put a date on it like with the seiko's?

"also I am dumb date code is actually 36 so june 93' (???) unless they made this in to the 2000's??) could be 2003 also I guess?"

Thank you kindly, but you won't be saying that in a couple of years when I'm still trotting 'em out.

Back in 2016 I brought this watch through an auction needing a bit of work. I tried a new battery to no avail so off it went for repair. When it came back it had a different movement and handset fitted. Being a bit green at the time I just accepted that was how it would be and put it in the box wearing very occasionally but not really enjoying it.
Then last weekend I learned of a man who would possibly have the parts to resurrect it so off it went and two days later it returned. THE PROJECT REBORN!!!!
CWC - 1980 Fatboy.

It is not 2000's I don't think... Ref the date are not Citizens the month first and the year second?? Seiko's are the year first and month second... I have written an article in years past but I've forgotten... Lol

Having said all that I am leaning more to 1990's also
