Good morning watch lovers, one of my favourite vintage Omega's for a lovely sunny Friday :)

New arrival, didn't set the date yet, caught the running seconds 'jumping' in this pic, which I thought was kind of groovy.   The centre chrono seconds is quite smooth at 5Hz.  Snazzy colour way.

Omega Speedmaster Mk IV "Professional" (aka Mk 4.5) ST176.0012 calibre 1045 (Lemania 5100)

I always thought it was a Mk 4.5 until I read the Omega "Bible" which says "Omega Speedmaster Automatic also called the Mark IV Professional" - you live and learn :laugh:

Yeah hes got some really cool stuff and quite a range too, im quite new so im working my way through them to figure out what i like amd what i can live with.

Definitely a good thing as 2 days with his poljot pilot and i realised that i could not live with the ticking!

Ha ha, I am pretty deaf and have never heard a watch ticking before, but even I heard one of my Russians the other day!
